Join me in Birmingham!
I will be on the road by 6:15 a.m. Saturday to join thousands of others in Birmingham's Linn Park for the 17th annual Komen Race for the Cure.
Join me, and surround yourself with a group of men and women, as well as children, all working toward a common goal -- to find a cure for breast cancer.
You know my story. Meet others and hear theirs. They will inspire you.
Oh, and I'll be walking the entire 5K tomorrow (a first for me). An incredibly tight hamstring is not loosening up, so I'm not going to chance an injury at this point. Playing smart ... nothing wrong with that.

I hope that hamstring relaxes and you get plenty of company in Birmingham!
Thanks! As a fellow runner, you probably do understand this frustration of not being able to run :) I hope to be back on the roads by Sunday morning or Monday.
Hey! Ain't nothin' wrong with WALKING a 5k! ; )
Take care of your hammies.
xoxo
